Elizabeth Pawle is an artist known for her colourful, abstract and freeform textile works. Her practice is defined by bold colour, organic shapes and layered textures that capture the joyful unplanned energy of making.
Before becoming a full-time artist, Elizabeth worked as an interiors magazine journalist but art remained a constant pull. Today her work is collected internationally, recognised for its vibrancy and ability to bring warmth and energy into a space. Alongside her own practice, she mentors and coaches women makers at the start of their creative journeys, sharing her belief that the act of making can be truly life-changing.
Elizabeth lives in Suffolk with her husband and two children. When she isn't working she loves knitting socks, walking her golden retriever and exploring Scandinavia.
