this is my story
After my first baby was born, I found myself at an impossible crossroads. I couldn’t go back to my old career as a magazine journalist, and without childcare, staying at home felt like my only option. So that’s what I did. And for years I felt completely stuck.
Then one day I picked up a needle and started embroidering wall hangings. And everything changed.
Those pieces quickly became popular and eventually people all over the world were collecting my work. I was making a good living doing something I loved and it easily fit around my life as a parent.
It was the best decision I’ve ever made.
I know what it’s like to have ideas buzzing in your head but no clear path forward. To feel like you’re juggling too many things at once, wondering if you’ll ever have the focus or the time to make it work. To long for someone who understands what it’s really like to start a handmade business from scratch.
