IF YOU’RE NOT INVITED, DON’T GO hand embroidered hankie from my Threads of Defiance project
Threads of Defiance is a collection of small cotton hankies stitched with words of self respect for women, turning this simple traditionally feminine item from something used to dry tears into a powerful statement of protest. Practical and durable, these hankies are made to be carried and used without fuss. They’ve been created with wonky edges and off-square corners as a deliberate challenge to the standards of perfectionism women face every day. Each message is embroidered in my own handwriting: a reminder that these words are personal, real and meant to be carried with you
100% cotton. Machine washable at 30 degrees (I just throw mine in with a regular load of laundry)
23cm x 23cm approximate
Your hankie will be folded and carefully wrapped. It will be shipped inside a padded envelope
US customers: orders are shipped via Royal Mail with ‘delivered duty paid’ and should be delivered with no further tariffs or handling charges to pay
EU customers: due to EU GPSR regulations I’m currently unable to ship to the EU or Northern Ireland
